been a while since my last post.
i just got back from a wonderful wedding shoot in Bintan over the weekend. Martin & Sonya are really cool. am editng their pix now, hope i can get them ready before they go back to Norway. will post some here once i am done, stay tuned.
got the new iphone 3gs on sunday night, the queue was not as long as launch-day but we still waited for more than 2 hours. and i finally have my iphone, yay! thats the good news. the bad news is, i lost all my contacts in a syncing disaster. so, if you are reading this, please give me a call/sms/email/fb message. and do pardon me if i reply with "who are you?".... bummer....
ok, this clip has been around for a very long time but it still brightens my day everytime i watch it. hope it can put a smile on your face too :)

i survived the sundown :)

decided to go ahead with the marathon despite having not enough training, zzz, just recovered from cold, and a splitting headache.
once i reached there, the carnival atmosphere got my adrenaline up quite a bit. ran alone this time as bro couldn't make it due to work. was quite ill-prepared for it, ran about 3 times a week 2 months prior to the run, but each training run was never more than 7km.
a few important factors helped me complete the run. 1stly, the FootGlide! this is the 1st time i completed a long run without a single blister on my feet.

i applied it between my toes, the outside and inside of my feet, armpits, inner-thighs and nipples (dont laugh, nipple abrasion is no joke)
2ndly, my nike running tights. they feel really light and comfy. no abrasion between my thighs too. next, are my mp3 player and the powergels (taste quite lousy though).
sadly i wish i can say the same for my shoes. after 3 marathons, 2 half-marathons and the training runs, its time for them to be replaced. my feet and ankles hurt even now, 2 days after the run. i figured i have clocked more than 200km in them.
halfway thru' the run, i realised my headache is gone... hmm.. running beats headaches too :) thank God, cramps hit me only once, decided not to stop for stretching, instead i just walked thru' it. after a few minutes the cramp went away and i resumed running, surprisingly the cramp didn't return. hmm...
i am not sure if i will run next year's sundown though. the route is quite bizarre. gravel run at bedok reservoir, narrow meandering neighbourhood pathments, a dozen traffic light disruptions, and worst of all, 5 energy and morale-sapping overhead bridges!!

which way Lord?
if this is really the direction you want me to go, then i will obey.
i just pray that you give me the faith to leave everything to you.
